Maybe you sat in your car for way longer than you should have trying to leave the Tanger parking lot on Black Friday, or perhaps you maxed out your credit card with Amazon purchases on Cyber Monday.
Now that that nonsense is over, it is time to give back for Giving Tuesday, which is today, Dec. 1.
Founded in 2011, Giving Tuesday is a day when people are encouraged to give to causes they care about. Here is a list of North Fork charities that can use your assistance this holiday season and throughout the year.
