Snow days are fun at first—Netflix binges, online shopping and endless consumption of pizza and junk food—but eventually we all will tire of being cooped up in the house and crave some much-needed time out and about at the latest NoVA events. Check out the three top shopping events beginning this weekend to satisfy your stylish needs after a snow-filled week:

Head to Elie Tahari at Tysons Galleria this Saturday, Feb. 21, from 5-8 p.m to support the Chris4Life Colon Cancer foundation at a special one night only shopping event. Colon cancer survivors will model the brand’s spring collection, which features various shades of blue, the official color of colon cancer awareness. Customers will receive 20 percent off of new arrivals and 10 percent of the proceeds will go towards Chris4Life. Champagne and light bites will be served. Visit the website for more information.

For those who plan to stay in, be the first to shop the new Madewell collection at Nordstrom. The retail giant has teamed up with the cool-girl brand as part of an ongoing partnership. Customers can begin shopping the collection online on Feb. 24 and in select stores beginning in March (Montgomery Mall location).

If you were one of the lucky ladies who received a romantic Valentine’s Day proposal, get a head start on finding the perfect dress at the Nurit Hen Trunk Show at Blush Bridal Boutique in Haymarket. From Feb. 26 to March 1, customers can shop the latest from the Israeli designer with the help of the boutique’s style consultants. To reserve a place at the trunk show, call 703-753-8303.
