NoHo and Dusk Til Pawn become one for NYE and are putting 2014 to bed with DJ Joe Wooders aka The Human Jukebox. He will set down the stylus on a new era as they ring in 2015 together. Join them to celebrate the passing of the torch to a brand New Year with a night of dancing, toasting, resolving and welcoming in the new. Tables / Wristbands are available for collection to guarantee entry. M&P’s Mardi Gras NYE Extravaganza featuring The Nightcreatures
NYE at Matt & Phred’s is always a spectacular night! This year they are going all out to create a NYE to remember! If you’ve ever dreamed of going to the New Orleans Mardi Gras, this is the night for you. The club will be transformed into a Mardi Gras Party with help from the fantastic Nightcreatures Band. They’ll be dressed up in their best Mardi Gras costumes and everyone heading down is encouraged to get dressed up too! Matt & Phred’s will supply the Mardi Gras Beads, you just bring your masks, parasols and dancing feet! The Best Dressed Couple will each receive a 1 Year Free Membership to M&P’s and a bottle of Fizz! It wouldn’t be a M&P Mardi Gras night without a Parade around the Northern Quarter so make sure you get to the club early to participate in our revelry! The music will feature Mardi Gras Mambo, Second Line Grooves, Indian Rhythms and Street Beats. Classic parade music from the crescent city of New Orleans and the sounds of Treme performed by a 6 piece version of The Nightcreatures. Expect to hear spirituals, old time jazz, New Orleans R&B, BBQ swing, funk and good time tunes!

A Funkademia New Year’s Eve
Funkademia takes over Mint Lounge on 31st December for its 19th New Year’s Eve party! This New Year’s Eve they have decided to do things a little differently. They’ve had a pow-wow with their good friends at Mint Lounge (plus some helpful sponsors) and have decided to turn NYE on its head. 2014 has been the most successful year of their 19 year history with capacity houses every week, so instead of bumping up ticket prices for the night, as a big thank you for your ongoing support, they have given out complimentary tickets for NYE (which have all sold out). Don’t worry though, the next 250 are just £5 and include a free drink (house spirit & mixer or premium beer) so its still not a bad deal eh!

It’s a time to say goodbye to the old year and strip off what’s no longer needed to welcome in the new and Club NQ, “the biggest dance space in the Northern Quarter”, is bringing the Thailand Full Moon Party to Manchester with ‘UV’ neon paint and strobes. The lunar full moon is the time when lunatics come out and party and ClubNQ capture this theme with a full-on full moon UV paint party. The drinks will be flowing with ‘2 for 1 cocktails’ in the Tiki cocktail lounge as well as drinks offers on the main bar. FREEBIES include glow sticks and UV paint.
