Bringing a positive image to male pageants in the country, Misters of Pilipinas 2015 is.

Male pageants in the Philippines have not yet achieved the kind of enviable status that our more prestigious female beauty competitions have been enjoying for several decades now. But the sincere efforts are slowly bringing them there. It just needs to be started somewhere so the uphill challenge can be rewarded with a more manageable incline that will render a steadier climb towards its mission.
Take for example Misters of Pilipinas. The initial objective was to give the male contest a more positive image and to lift its reputation to a level that will give credibility to the winners and the organization handling them. I honestly believe that they are on the right track. Otherwise, I will not give my full support to their endeavors. As you may have surely noticed, this blog started out as an online hub predominantly dedicated to the likes of Bb. Pilipinas, Miss Philippines Earth & Miss World Philippines plus the international beauty events they send their titleholders to. So when I began featuring male victors, I took it as a sign to give them the near-equal chance to shine.
It was a year-round beehive of activities for the Misters and PEPPs, the organizers
And they proved me right. What commenced as Misters of the Philippines 2014 transformed itself into a more respectable Misters of Pilipinas 2015. Last year’s winners, especially Mister International 2014/15 Neil Perez and Mister Global Philippines 2014 Joseph Doruelo, gave us reasons to cheer them on and acknowledge their desire to bring honor to the country.
The five guys of Misters2014 made sure that they kept a wholesome image all throughout their reign.
And now that their respective reigns are about to reach full circle (with the July 5 NCR screening of this year’s batch, the confirmation of candidates from the different Filipino Communities abroad and the different regional searches nationwide), we can all look forward to a sophomore edition that will continue to look for young men who have what it takes to be the Epitome of the True Filipino Gentlemen. :-)
