Admission procedure for Distance Education Courses in Annamalai University:
Spot Admission
Admission through Post
Spot admission: Annamalai University provides Spot Admission facility to those Applicants who live near to any Study Centers mentioned in prospectus "Annexure-I." Selection in any programme will be made by the Study Center. All spot admissions must be confirmed by the Director or will be cancelled if found not eligible.
For getting Spot admission, the candidates must submit and attach these documents with the application form in person to any study center or contact ot DDE, Annamalai University:
Filled in application form along with attested xerox/photostat copies of Certificates of eligibility, age and qualifications.
Attested passport size photograph should be affixed on the Application form.
Qualification and Transfer/ Migration Certificates in orignal.
2 Passport size Photographs without signature to be pasted on Scanning Form and Identity Card.
A Demand Draft (D.D) of Course Fee drawn in favour of “The Director, D.D.E., Annamalai University.”
Original documents will be returned after verification.
Admission through Post: if applicant does not live near to the university mentioned in Annexure-I he/she can send duly filled-in application to “The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalai nagar – 608 002” along with attested Xerox copies of
Certificates for the eligibility and qualifications,
certificate of Transfer/ Migration and
2 passport size photographs.
Students who want to take admission through post should not enclose original certificates and demand draft with the application.
On receipt of these documents University will give a provisional admission card to the student, after that student has to verify his/her original certificates either by Registered post or Speed post or produce in person and those certificates are:
Educational qualifications certificates
Migration/Transfer Certificate and, a Demand Draft of Course Fee drawn in favour of The Director, D.D.E., Annamalai University.
If the documents/certificates submitted by student found fake, his/her admission will be cancelled and the course fee will also be forfeited.
