So, the Anime Boston convention started today (technically yesterday), and will run from 3/21 - 3/23. Here are some photos from the event, mostly costumes I found interesting, with a few personal experiences added in~

Can I just say right now that the one thing everyone seems to be doing this year is Shingeki no Kyojin? Definitely more than I will bother counting, and I'll probably only be taking the best I see.

[Lyrica, Touhou] So I find this guy again, and turns out he's an absolute boss and plays anime OPs on that real keyboard. This is him in the middle of Madoka's OP.

[Haruhara, FLCL] I was hoping for a bass somewhere here.

Favorite character now immortalized on my wall <3
One of the panels had someone who was teaching very basic Japanese phrases via pop music, which was kind of funny. He gave out prints of characters for his upcoming manga/anime series that he's doing as prizes, the biggest one autographed. I may not know exactly what his show is, but I just got the autographs of all the main characters in the Sailor Moon English dub just by knowing Japanese. Whee.

Cute artbook I picked up. Asakawa Yuu (voice actress for Megurine Luka) was even in town today, so I got to meet and chat with her a bit and bam. Autographed artbook~
