Aksys Games has announced that they are porting 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors to “other platforms.”

The news came as part of the publisher’s Anime Expo 2016 panel, where creator Kotaro Uchikoshi spoke about the series, his influences and the latest instalment, Zero Time Dilemma.

The game originally launched on Nintendo DS in Japan and North America, before an iOS port saw a worldwide release. Given that the Zero Escape series has shifted to Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and PC, our expectation is that the ports will come to those platforms.

Details remain light until the publisher shares more, but a teaser trailer has indicated that the port, at the very least, will improve visuals and add Japanese voice acting.
