Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire pre-orders recently opened across Japan, such occasion having been met with feverish anticipation by fans across the country.
As you’ll see from the photos below, they flocked to the country’s handful of Pokémon Centers across Tokyo, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Sapporo and Nagoya, taking snaps of the enormous queues as a record of their dedication.
However, those waiting outside had their patience rewarded when Game Freak director Junichi Masuda made an appearance to thank everyone for their support. He even posed for a photo, with credit due to whichever parent dressed their baby as a Pikachu. We love it.
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will release in Japan, Australia and North America on November 21st, and Europe on November 28th.
