The San Francisco 49ers are hosting their annual local Pro Day in Santa Clara on Friday. Local prospects get a chance to work out for the team, and chat with media.

The 2014 NFL Draft kicks off in 13 days, which means pre-draft visits are quickly coming to a close. As teams finish up hosting players, they cap it off with a local Pro Day. The San Francisco 49ers local Pro Day will take place Friday in Santa Clara. It includes players who attended locals schools like Cal, Stanford and San Jose State, but also includes anybody with a hometown connection to the area. Generally this means players who went to high school in the region, but I'm sure there can be other connections.
Former 49ers beat writer, and now ESPN Stanford blogger Kyle Bonagura had a rundown of many of the Stanford players that will be in attendance. In addition to Stanford players, Kyle tweeted out info on other players expected to be in attendance:

There will be some Cal players as well, but he did not have a list of them. There will be some other random players mixed in as well. As Kyle mentioned in his article, the more prominent players will be there but are unlikely to take part in many of the drills. The players that do participate are usually longer shots to make the roster.
Morgan Breslin is a bit of an under the radar guy. He was a big sack collector at USC, but he dealt with hip injuries his senior year and ended up not getting invited to the NFL Combine. He stands 6'1, 240 pounds, and might just be a little too small to be a solid pass rusher at the NFL level. Small guys have stepped up in the past, but it will hurt him come draft weekend.
The players will have some media availability after the workout wraps in the afternoon. 49ers media will get some time with Trent Baalke starting at 11 a.m. PT. We'll keep an eye out for some of that, as the 49ers usually release either a transcript or audio.
