Job Title: Sales Manager

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager, will be responsible for managing business relationships at a senior level with customers , to identify opportunities for growth and increased revenue for Main One as well as improve the customer experience.

He will manage existing relationships with customers, understanding their business model and market to be able to assist in the development of strategies that will enable both Main One and the Customer to grow and succeed.Specifically, the Sales Manager, will:

Engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities for Main One.

Build and maintain productive business relationships with these decision makers to understand the Customers’ strategic direction and explore opportunities for Main One to gain a larger share of the Customers’ wallets.

Lead, implement, and communicate the sales strategies and coordinate the action plans.

Manage the execution of team sales plan to achieve sales targets as defined by Main One.

Be the primary contact person for accounts, planning and managing the overall business relationships between them and Main One.

Bring to bear own knowledge and experience of selling in the telecoms sector on the team, defining and implementing developmental strategies that will support the growth of the team and generate increased revenue for the company.

Drive results through others, manage team performance, set clear expectations, and hold team accountable against business metrics.

Oversee efforts of the team on accounts by reviewing sales proposals and negotiating with clients.

Provide to the Line manager with the necessary sales reports, budgets, sales plan, and market analysis.

Co-ordinate with relevant technical teams such as Transmission and IP Engineering team to ensure timely delivery of services to the customer.

Speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues.

Work with other support teams such as Technical Sales, Legal, Finance and Service Delivery to resolve any customer queries or problems in a timely and effective manner in order to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline.

Post graduate/relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.

At least ten (10) years’ relevant sales experience with at least four (4) years in supervisory role.

Job Title: Facilities Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

The Facility Operations Engineer will be responsible for the functions pertaining to facility management of the Main One sites (CLS, POP, Top Notch and Beach Manhole)

Facilities maintenance: Power, Fire Protection System, Precision Cooling, Comfort Cooling, UPS, Inverters, Rectifiers, Biometrics, AC and Water treatment Plant.

Utilities, Repairs, Renovation Management for all Main One facilities as well as service coordination and service providers’ management.

Preparation and updating of dossiers and method of operation manuals for all systems within the CLS and POP

Perform 1st line troubleshooting of faults involving the generators

Ensure building and facilities are kept at high level of maintenance and that all SLA’s are adhered to

Ensure 100% availability of power and manage diesel supply and replenishment process

Manage all SLA between Main One and her Service Contractors

Relate with public power company to ensure reliability and quality of public power supply and ensure problems are fixed within the shortest possible time

Oversee building structure and all equipment and utility systems such as generator sets, air conditioners, battery, fire protection systems such as cooling and fire hydrants, Security systems such as CCTV, Lighting.

Ensuring that safety and health standards at work are adhered to

Prepare accurate weekly/monthly project, operations and Maintenance reports for management

Job Title: Data Centre & Cloud Solutions Specialist
Department: Technical

Responsibilities

The DC & Cloud Solutions Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and performing installations, preventive and remedial maintenance of servers configured in clustered environments, located within a computing environment.

He/She will interface with hardware vendors to establish successful integration of equipment into associated systems and provide top level technical expertise and support for all services.

He/she will also work with the technical department to develop hardware configuration test plans to support implementation efforts.

Other responsibilities includes:

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring maximum uptime on existing hardware/networks.

Performing as needed, hardware/network maintenance or configuration changes as directed.

Responsible for ensuring proper deployment of new hardwares, including servers, switches and storage arrays.

Expert level knowledge in all Cisco switching products, as well as Cisco UCS and Nexus 1000v.

Expert level knowledge in Vmware, vCenter, SRM, ESX Virtualization, EMC VNX, Isilon SANCitrix XenApp / XenDesktop, Active Directory infrastructure technologies, Hyper-V and KVM.

Should have hands-on experience with Cisco UCS compute cluster, Cisco 1000v VSM within vSphere 5.

Strong knowledge in all other areas of: Data Center Networking Design & planning, Layer2 network design and architecture including expertise with switching and/or routing platforms from Cisco, SAN switching

Expert knowledge in VCE Vblock cloud infrastructure, IaaS (infrastructure as a service) BaaS (Backup as a service), RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) cloud implementation

Solid understanding of a chassis/hardware installation process including changing the hardware components/configuration (hard drive, Memory, CPU, PCI cards).

Should have deployed VCE VBLOCK 100,300 and 700.

Good knowledge and ability to debug hardware problems – for example, if a node does not boot, the person needs to identify whether the problem is hardware (maybe like a bad DIMM), or the software.

Individual will need some POST and OS boot experience.

Scripting in any of the following is a plus – Perl, Python, Bash, XML, XPATH

Windows management (AD, DHCP server, WDS), will be an added advantage.
