Federal Government Plans to Ban Porn Sites – NSA
In January 2015, The National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.), says the Federal Government plans to introduce a law to ban and block all P0*n websites in the country. music Legend 2Face Idibia has suggested that Pidgin English be introduced in Nigerian schools to aid communication and transfer knowledge to kids in rural areas who use Pidgin English as their second language.
The Afro-pop icon gave this opinion at the MTV Base #ChooseOrLose Roundtable in February 2015. “For me, they can gather some linguistic professors and let them package pidgin English properly,” he said, acknowledging that this may be the most effective way of tackling the education deficit in parts of the country with a language barrier. When will this happen, well just stick around until then keep your fingers crossed.
Patoranking signs Distribution Deal with World’s Largest Reggae Company, VPAL
Patoranking who was “Next rated act” @ the 2014 Headies took us by surprise in February 2015. He was in New York to meet with the World’s Largest Reggae Music distribution company VPAL and he signed a distribution deal with them. VPAL Music is a New York-based record label. The label is a sub-label within VP Records Music Group since 2009. VPAL Music deals with independent artists and record labels. Through VP Records distribution channel, VPAL distributes music worldwide to help talented reggae artists. One of the biggest successes of VPAL is Israel Vibration’s Reggae Knights. The album got high recognition and strong sales through VPAL distribution and was nominated for Best Reggae Album Grammy in 2012.

Burna Boy Finally Floats New Record Label, Spaceship Entertainment
Nigerian afro pop star, Burna Boy has finally set up his own record label after parting ways with his former record label, Aristocrat Records in June 2014.
Burna Boy’s new record label is called Spaceship Entertainment and he confirmed while tweeting from his verified Twitter account with with over 178,000 followers saying: ‘My Official Record Label twitter and Instagram account is up Spaceship_ent please follow and share.’

Did Wizkid and Skales stage a Twitter Beef?
Twitter went crazy with Wizkid and Skales going back and forth at each other. A lot of people seem to think that the uproar might have been staged to create some kind of attention around Skales. Hours after the supposed beef, Skales dropped his video “Jekomo” and also deleted all tweets related to the argument.
Aside from this, it is reported that both Wizkid and Skales were present at GATP (Grill At The Penthouse) event which held in Lagos at Mega Plaza on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Eye witnesses claim they even shared a table together.
