Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities
MS Gold Partner is looking for a SharePoint Developer/Architect to provide portal, application, and web development using Microsoft SharePoint including 2007, 2010, but with a major emphasis on 2013-Online as part of Office365. You will design and develop cutting edge solutions on the SharePoint platform. You will also have access to a wealth of Microsoft partner resources. We will need you to perform system design, development, and administration for a variety of clients. Being able to create, modify, and support workflows is a big plus. Your solutions will affect efficiencies across many organizations. MS Gold Partner is a leader in cloud computing, so ideally you will either already be experienced with SharePoint Online, or you are presently moving your career towards cloud technologies.
You will take ownership of the following:
*Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online-based solutions, apps, and services.
*Develop and maintain documentation pertaining to standards, procedures and techniques for administration, change management, and problem resolution.
*Assist in project development, defining technical requirements and developing solutions.
*Consult on SharePoint customization projects and provide business case analysis for using out-of-box functionality and development through SharePoint designer or customized solutions.
*Collaborate with Infrastructure and Deployment teams.
*Provide recommendations on solutions and/or best practices in the architecture, design, and governance of a SharePoint environment.
*Assist a sales engineer in creating solution proposals for prospective clients.
You Would Be Great For This Position If You Have…
*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or Equivalent work experience.
*A minimum of 5+ years of Microsoft.NET development with a minimum of 3+ years of pure SharePoint development in the enterprise.
*Experience with SharePoint Server, Web Services, security, instrumentation, exception handling, and SharePoint branding.
*Experience working and supporting large, complex or enterprise-wide solutions.
*Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions.
*Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows.
*MS .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform.
*Web development with modern standards and JavaScript libraries.
*Experience with or exposure to Office365.
*Experience with SharePoint Designer.
*Good fundamental and hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008
*Must have a strong understanding of C#, .NET framework and ASP.NET.
*Strong analytical skills and good problem solving skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, energetic and professional demeanor, and be very client oriented are all must-have characteristics
*Strong technical writing skills and able to work on large, remote project teams
