One of my key clients is currently looking for a Senior Programme Manager to head up several exciting projects and is looking to hire now. The ideal candidate will have several responsibilities including:
- Maintaining effective relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
- Managing issues and risks
- Managing and maintaining project times
- Manage project teams through successful matrix management
- Manage diverse project teams across multiple organisations
- Ensuring the successful delivery of programmes and projects
- Providing support, guidance and share good practice within the team and across the business
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
- Demonstrate experience of managing projects with budgets in excess of £1m
- Demonstrate experience of managing projects throughout the entire delivery lifecycle
- Experience of managing senior stakeholders, 3rd party suppliers/partners and internal diverse teams
The following skills are also desirable:
- Experience of delivering mid-size ERP implementations such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Understanding of standard business functions and processes across the supply chain; e.g. procurement, finance, distribution, inventory management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Foreign exchange/pre-paid card experience
- Consultancy experience
