What the role requires:

As the Benelux IT Sales Manager, you will be working with various sizes and industries of customer accounts, all without the inconvenience of having to travel.

You will need to have at least a conversational level of Dutch language and be comfortable working in a thriving multicultural environment.

You will manage the sales process through sales cycle, carrying out duties such as: prospecting, product demonstrations over the web, sales engineering assistance, account management, writing proposals and closing business.

This role is both high impact and high volume, and requires you to be familiar working to achieve quotas.

What the job duties are:

-Represent the company and its line of products in the context of customer accounts of various sizes and industries

-Work to meet and exceed direct sales goals within the Benelux zone

-Manage all aspects of the sales process, i.e. lead generation, qualification, evaluation, close and account management

-Responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, including prospecting and assessing sales potential

-Move a high volume or transactions simultaneously through the pipeline

-Manage and track customer and transactional data into a web-based system, including logging all sales activities within the established processes, and keeping customer accounts current and accurate

-Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, such as product support and sales engineering

-Provide demonstration to prospective clients

-Work successfully within a team environment to maximise revenue potential and ensure customer success

Who you are:

-Substantial direct sales experience, including transactional sales experience

-Steady overachievement of sales goals, with a focus on quotas, high transactional volume and activity levels (i.e. calls, demos, meetings, etc.)

-Able to develop and manage a sales pipeline with a proven track record of handling and closing a large number of transactions simultaneously

-Detail and process oriented

-A proven 'go-getter' with a strong work ethic; both self-directed and resourceful

-Proven time management skills

-Developed communication skills (written and verbal)

-Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

-Comfortable talking on the phone for moderate periods of time

-Previous experience working in a technical role is an asset (both product support and/or training)
