Working on client sites 75% of the time with 25% home working, the responsibilities of the Microsoft Infrastructure Consutlant are to provide detailed solutions using experise in the design and implementation of key infrastructure and supporting technologies:
* Presales demonstrations, presentations and proposal writing
* Analysis / Requirements gathering
* IT Consultancy / IT Manager background
* Technical Design
* Expert Technical skills in Microsoft technologies
* Project Team Leadership and / or working as part of a team
* Self motivated to learn new technologies and apply best practice
Expert in :
* Windows 2003/2008/2012
* Active Directory
* Exchange Server 2007 and 2010/2013
* Administrator/Design of SQL 2005, 2008
* Server virtualisation : Hyper -V preferred but VMware beneficial
* Windows Software Update Services
* System Centre Config Manager 2007/2012
Advantageous skills:
* Office 365 / Cloud Computing
* Sharepoint
* Biztalk
* Data Protection Manager
* Routers
* Firewalls, ISA, TMG
* Proxy Servers
* IIS
* Frameworks such as ITIL or MOF
