ERP Project Manager - East Midlands - £60k benefits
My client is a highly recognised Microsoft Gold Partner that offers in-depth s industry experience and detailed technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM). The company's clientele boasts a broad range of global enterprise companies in the Professional Services and Finance Industries and are a leader in their particular field.
ERP Project Manager RESPONSIBILITIES
*Optimise the profitability of allocated projects
*Ensure that realistic project plans are developed, that are agreed with clients to enable us to set and meet their expectations
*Work with key senior staff to develop and enhance the company's implementation methodology and ensure a common approach is taken for all project engagements
*Lead and manage the allocated project team(s)
*Organise project resources and ensure that actions are taken to ensure that delivery stays on-plan
*Manage changes to the project through the appropriate change control mechanisms
*Act on input from management to enable the development and ongoing improvement on the services that we are able to offer to our clients
*Act as a central point of contact for all project issues within a programme.
*In all activities, operate in such a manner as to conform to the company's Quality System

The candidate -
- At least 2 years' experience of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) project management
- Experience in Professional Services and/or Finance industries
- Dynamics AX experience desirable - will also look at JD Edwards/ Oracle / SAP / NAV / other related enterprise level ERP
- Experience of working within a software consultancy
- A passion for client facing work
- Excellent communication skills
