Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an exceptional leader with a proven track record working with the most senior commercial and marketing decision makers. You will be adept at quickly developing relationships at this level, understanding their strategic challenges, and designing custom research solutions based on the full range of Repucom’s research and consultancy capabilities. This role will be supported by a small team of experienced researchers in our Sydney office and reporting directly to our Australia MD and Repucom’s Global Head of Research. The measure of your success will be determined by your ability to grow the level of insight currently delivered via existing research programs as well as develop research services within our existing and new client base. Critical to this growth will be the quality and innovation of insights we are able to provide our clients.
The role also includes:
Direct responsibility for all market research projects in the region including internal team management.
Management of the research and insights team
Development and evolution of existing Repucom research programs
Working directly with clients and the Repucom business development team to design relevant and innovative research programmes (including proposal writing, project costing and advice).
Open discussion with clients to determine purpose, outcome and specification of projects.
Developing strong client relationships.
Highly creative approach to research design and delivery process flow
World class data interpretation and storytelling
Hands on data investigation and analysis
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of developing and sustaining high value relationships, and finding innovative ways to add value to their business with a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research projects. In particular we’ll be looking for evidence of the below skills:
Manage a team to ensure they deliver for the business to the best of their abilities
Commercial acumen
Ability to manage the expectations and demands of a variety of senior stakeholders.
World class communication and quality of work.
Ability to interpret data and charts and present these in an inspiring, entertaining and innovative manner.Confidence and experience in research design and analysis
Passion for engaging with clients and understanding their business better than they do
