The Lawn Fawn CHA Sneak Week is here!

How about a garden full of adorable good-for-you veggies today? I love the adorable images in the *Rooting For You Stamp Set. This is a great stamp set to try out your stamp layering technique. I layered Lawn Fawn Ink colors for the veggies and then added a Distress Inked die cut background for this cute garden scene card.

*Please remember that this is the Sneak Week, meaning the new products shown are not yet available for purchase. As soon as they start hitting stores I will be updating all the Sneak Week posts and videos with shoppings links. Yay!

To create my vegetable garden card, I stamped the images with Lawn Fawn (and one Hero Arts) Dye Inks. Here are the ink combinations used for each of the vegetables:

CARROTS: Lawn Fawn Fake Tan + Lawn Fawn Pumpkin Spice

RADISHES: Lawn Fawn Lobster Red

TURNIPS: Hero Arts Soft Vanilla + Lawn Fawn Juice Box

BEETS: Lawn Fawn Fresh Lavender + Lawn Fawn Sugarplum

GARDEN PICKS: Lawn Fawn Hippo

The faces, words on the garden picks, and greeting were stamped with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink. I love that you can customize the veggies with faces if you want for a whimsical look or leave them off if you prefer your veggies without faces!

p.s. Lawn Fawn is releasing re-inkers for all their ink pads! Now, if an ink pad dries out because you love and use it so often (like my Lobster Red Ink Pad) you can re-ink it! Yay!

I die cut the images with the coordinating *Rooting For You Dies and set them aside to work on the background scene.

I die cut two rectangles using the A2 sized Large Stitched Rectangle Die. From one of the rectangles I die cut two *Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. These new borders are a great add on to the original Stitched Hillside Borders some of my most loved and used versatile dies! I have a feeling these new dies are going to be just as loved!

I applied Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Inks to the two border pieces and Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks to the background rectangle using the Mini Ink Blending Tool. I spritzed all three with water from a Distress Sprayer (what did I ever do without this amazing sprayer?!!!!). I let the water sit for 30-45 seconds and then dabbed it up with a dry paper towel.

Once the pieces were completely dry, I assembled the garden scene and stamped the greeting along the bottom before adhering the entire panel to a side fold card base.
