Job Responsibilities: WHKS & Co. has an immediate need for an Entry Level Civil Engineer/Civil Technician (Municipal) in our Rochester, Minnesota office.
Description:
The civil engineer/engineering technician will perform design and field operations for municipal, transportation and other infrastructure type projects. Work will include design, site design, quantity estimates, construction observation, materials testing, and other engineering support functions.
Responsibilities:
Will assist on a variety of challenging engineering tasks both in the office and in the field. Work directly with Licensed Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer.
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology degree.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Successful candidate must be ambitious, outgoing and eager to learn.
Must have the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks at a time.
Will need strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients, contractors, and peers.
Experience with Auotcad Civil 3D would be an advantage.
