Converse Rubber Tracks, a branch dedicated to getting artists where they need to be and giving back to the music community, has recently unveiled the musical artists from 28 countries they will be hosting for recording sessions in 12 diverse, legendary recording studios around the world.... For free. Over 9,000 acts applied to grab the opportunity and 84 were chosen for this unique studio experience.
Participating studio spaces include Abbey Road Studios in London, England; Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, California; Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin, Germany; Tuff Gong in Kingston, Jamaica; Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavík, Iceland; Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Canada; Avast! Recording Company in Seattle, Washington; Stankonia in Atlanta, Georgia;, Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia; Toca do Bandido in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil; the original brick-and-mortar Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, New York; and the newly-developed Converse Rubber Tracks in Boston, Massachusetts, slated to open this summer.
The Converse Rubber Tracks studio takeover will allow chosen artists to work side by side with highly regarded producers and audio engineers for the duration of their 1-2 day sessions. And, of course, all rights to the music will go directly to the artist.
