Grab your boots and saddle up partner because American Heroes Channel (AHC) is back with an all-new WESTERN WEEK. Kicking off Saturday, October 1 at 8/7c, AHC transports viewers back to the American Frontier for an entire week of Western-themed series, specials and movies, including the network premiere of the original, iconic Western film – THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN.

From roping and riding, to shooting and fighting, WESTERN WEEK highlights the real heroes, villains and legends that dominated the Wild West. Featuring bitter rivals, notorious outlaws, and infamous gunslingers, the week-long programming event airs Saturday, October 1 through Friday, October 7, beginning nightly at 8/7c, only on AHC.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1

THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN (MGM, 1960) Airs at 8/7c

A Mexican village is being terrorized by the bandit Calvera (Eli Wallach) and his gun blazing goons. Seven American mercenaries are hired to protect the village. The group trains the townsfolk in gunplay as a trap is set for Calvera. The bandits suffer casualties after a raid, but they regroup to capture the seven gunmen. Yul Brenner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Horst Buchholz, James Coburn and Brad Dexter star as the seven guns who must escape wrath of their captor Calvera.
