THROWBACK THURSDAY: From 1996-2001, Rosie O’Donnell was well known as the QUEEN OF NICE with her 6 year/season Emmy winning daytime talk show on NBC entitled The Rosie O’Donnell Show. On the show, she invited everyone from our Broadway backyard, Film, TV, Music, and much more. For those who may not know, Rosie is the ultimate fan and supporter of ALL BROADWAY SHOWS!!!
In 2001, she ended her talk show wanting take time off to be with her kids. For the opening of the final episode of the talk show, cast members of various Broadway shows running at the time came together to say farewell parodying lyrics to their shows.
