JOB DESCRIPTION
Annalect’s Foundation team is looking for a SharePoint Product Manager with a track record of success to help manage the product planning and deployment of MS SharePoint 2010 which includes gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the client and development team.

The primary objective of this platform will be to serve as our global extranet solution for collaborating with our clients and providing a seamless gateway for accessing Annalect’s product offerings. This position will also assist in the migration effort of our current SP 2007 platform and be heavily involved in developing new client solutions leveraging the native functionality of SharePoint.

Reporting to the Product Director, this position is accountable for the overall successful delivery and support of the MS SharePoint platform and its solution applications, which includes the extranet and other collaboration environments globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, create, configure and maintain Web Applications, SharePoint Site Collections, and other systems and products that support SharePoint (e.g., EmpowerID, ControlPoint, and various custom webparts).
• Assist in the development of our initial client and product templates.
• Deploy new client sites using these pre-defined site templates.
• Consult client teams and CSMs to leverage SharePoint functionality for developing custom applications.
• Provide trouble-shooting services for issues escalated beyond first level support.
• Apply best practices and comply with our standard security policies.
• Provide initial high-level training during the on-boarding process.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member with developers, product managers and client solution teams.

REQUIREMENTS
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Understanding of the media and digital advertising industry trends is preferred
• 6+ years of SharePoint technologies experience in a variety of business environments.
• Must possess an in solid understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010 and migration from a SP 2007 platform
• Strong presentation, personnel management and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to supply technical solutions to meet business requirements
• Knowledge of various Business Intelligence platforms and how their visualizations can be incorporated into the SP platform
• Strong capacity for analyzing business use-cases, gathering functional requirement, developing specifications, business models, and designing wireframes
• Capable of adapting style and method of communication to the individuals, tasks and situations involved
• Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to work successfully across organizational lines and influence outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to grasp the "big picture".
• Must have competence in preparing presentation quality documents and executive level summaries.
