BJP Supporters Celebrate Lead In UP

The Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 for a total of 403 seats took place in 7 phases for which the results are to be announced today. The front-runners in UP are: Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance, BJP and BSP.

It remains to be seen whether the ugly SP family feud, which saw supreme Mulayam Singh Yadav relegated to the role of patron and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav anointed head of SP, will impact the election results.
