Goa Elections 2017: BJP Releases Second List Of 7 Candidates
BJP has announced the second and final list of 7 candidates for the upcoming Goa assembly elections, after announcing the first list of 29 candidates on January 12.
The Central Election Committee of the BJP Bharatiya Janata Party met on Monday morning under the Presidentship of Amit Shah.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh, Minister of Finance Arun Jaitley and other members of the Central Election Committee of the BJP.
The first list of 29 candidates included 18 sitting legislators including Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar.

According to state party president Vinay Tendulkar, BJP will contest polls independently on 36-37 seats and on the remaining will support independent candidates.
