Fallen football star Ray Rice showed up at a high school game in New Rochelle on Saturday – his first public appearance since getting cut from the Ravens and suspended indefinitely from the NFL for knocking out his wife.

Rice walked onto McKenna Field before the team’s varsity football game against Ramapo. He was accompanied by his wife Janay Palmer and his baby daughter.

Rice was photographed looking on from the sidelines dressed in all black, while his wife stood a few feet away with her arms folded across her chest.

The former Ravens star graduated from New Rochelle High School and is from Westchester County.

But his alma mater has already taken steps to distance itself from the disgraced gridiron star.

The school has removed Rice’s picture and his Baltimore Ravens jersey from its wall of fame.

In a letter sent to parents Thursday, the principal blasted Rice. “We condemn his actions and know that solving problems with physical violence is never acceptable,” it read, according to ABC 7.

Surveillance video released by TMZ.com on Monday showed Rice slugging his then-fiancée in the face inside an elevator at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said he didn’t see the video until the TMZ release.
