A LUNCH OF THEIR OWN
“Sex and the City” actor Mario Cantone, “Karate Kid” star Ralph Macchio and playwright Charles Messina grabbed lunch at the Italian eatery Ecco in Tribeca on Thursday. We’re told the trio spent the afternoon celebrating their off-Broadway smash “A Room of My Own,” which has been a big success at the Abingdon Theater, where it’ll run through March 13. The show is based on Messina’s experiences growing up in an Italian family in Greenwich Village.

Emily Ratajkowski enjoyed a busy fashion week that included business mogul Baran Suzer’s party celebrating the art of Studio Bryce Thompson. The “Blurred Lines” beauty told guests that her fashion week had been hectic, but amazing. Victoria’s Secret stunner Sara Sampaio also popped by Nomo SoHo in NYC.

Billionaire businessman and Diane von Furstenberg hubby Barry Diller says that boycotting the Oscars doesn’t address the bigger issue of racism. “I think it does not have anything to do with the Academy Awards actually,” he told us during New York Fashion Week. “I think it has to do with real issues and I think the Academy Awards are just caught in the nip of it.” He adds that “There’s all sorts of issues with the Academy, but it’s so much deeper and wider than that.”

Actress Trudie Styler, who’s married to musician Sting, has inked a deal with philanthropist and recording artist Sir Ivan Wilzig that will make him a producer on her upcoming movie “Freak Show.” Styler will direct the flick, which is about a teenage drag queen’s attempt to become homecoming queen of a conservative school. We’re told that Wilzig got behind Styler’s project because it augments the LGBT anti-bullying campaigns he works on with The Trevor Project.
HE’S GOT SWAY
MTV News correspondent and producer Sway Calloway found his way into the frame while Kate Hudson and Eva Longoria were being photographed at the SiriusXM studio in Midtown. Appearing on Jenny McCArthy’s “Dirty Sexy Funny” satellite radio show, Hudson said that considering how well her life has gone “It was a blessing” that her father Bill Hudson “abandoned” her when she was a baby.

Singer Adele was rolling in the deep-artment store in West Hollywood on Friday. Days after a trouble plagued Grammys performance literally brought her to tears, singer Adele pushed a shopping cart through Target department store. That same day, she was also spotted shopping at a nearby CVS where we can only imagine she was stocking up on chill pills. On Monday, the “Hello” singer’s microphone fell into her piano causing an audible disruption on live TV.
A FASHION WEEK WASHOUT
Who needs models when you have bubbles? Designer Jonathan Cohen skipped the traditional model-on-catwalk fashion show format and held his Fall 2017 presentation at the Aire Ancient Baths in TriBeCa. “We forgo models for a few reasons,” he told Confidenti@l. “The main being to really focus on the clothes.” Celebs who walked the runways during the past fashion week included singer Lady Gaga, who walked in Marc Jacobs’ show and reality star Kendall Jenner, who stomped for Michael Kors.

Kim Kardashian has a new favorite restaurant in Manhattan. While in town for Fashion Week, Kardashian was twice spotted at Nerai restaurant on E. 54th St. The first time was a Friday night, when she came in to shoot a scene of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” with her male pal Jonathan Cheban. She returned the next day at 4 p.m. — two hours before the restaurant opens — hungry again. “The waiters weren’t in so chef Chris Christou served the food personally,” we’re told.

Loopy rapper Kanye West — who has left New York and is now confusing Paris instead — checked out a metallic jacket at the Premiere Vision fashion trade show at the Parc Des Expositions de Villepinte in the French capital. The “L.O.P” rapper — who was wearing one of his own Yeezy hoodies and a pair of duck boots — took a break from Twitter long enough to browse through the fabrics on show.
