Rob Kim/Getty Images Lea Michele’s new book has little to share about her romance with the late Cory Monteith.

Anyone expecting revealing details about Lea Michele’s romance with “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith in her new book, “Brunette Ambition,” is going to be disappointed. The only mentions of her ex-love, who died of a heroin overdose last July, include a caption with a picture of Manolo Blahnik strappy sandals that says, “I thought it was so special that he bought me shoes, since guys don’t usually have the first clue about buying them.” There’s also a sweet dedication to Monteith, thanking him as being her biggest fan “who lives on in these pages.”

The relationship that gets the most ink is her infatuation with BFF Jonathan Groff, whom she calls “her best friend in the entire world.” Though the two are apparently thick as thieves, Groff didn’t initially feel comfortable coming out, even though Michele said she knew he was gay the moment they met at the auditions for “Spring Awakening.”

The 27-year-old songbird also admits that she and Matthew Morrison, aka “Glee” teacher Will Schuester, dated for a “Broadway beat” — the theater equivalent of a New York minute.
