Life’s a beach in Lower Manhattan

Did you notice the pop-up beach outside New York Health & Racquet Club on Whitehall Street? It’s part of the gym’s work with Downtown Alliance’s #GameOnWater series, which brings cornhole, fooseball, mini-golf and other fun tournaments to locations along Water Street through Labor Day. The space is meant to be a place for you to kick back on a chaise lounge, stick your toes in the sand or even get sweaty during a free workout: NYHRC complementary classes are offered every Monday and Thursday at noon.

Pure Yoga comes to the Hamptons

If you find yourself needing a yoga fix the next time you’re in Montauk, you’ll be glad to know that Pure Yoga has popped up Sole East Hotel, offering free Saturday morning classes for NY Access members and $ 25 classes for NY Select members. While you’re there, take advantage of drink specials, discounted room rates and beach access.

New York Health and Racquet Club The urban beach is part of the Downtown Alliance’s #GameOnWater campaign.
