Open the Uber app between 11am – 2pm on March 26 in Uptown Charlotte

Request a mentor via the UberMENTOR vehicle option in the app

If you are connected, you’ll have 7 minutes to discuss your goals, and receive 7 minutes of feedback

Rides are FREE and will start and end at your pickup location

On lunch break? We’ve got you covered! In addition to connecting you with your UberMENTOR, you’ll also receive Uber swag and a healthy Bruks bar

Demand for #UberMENTOR will be high. If you don’t secure a mentoring session on your first attempt, keep trying!

 Jenifer Daniels – CEO, Good&Smart

Jenifer Daniels is founder and CEO of Good&Smart, a communications firm that helps brands tell their stories. She also serves as adjunct faculty at UNC Charlotte’s Department of Communication Studies. In 2014, Jenifer launched #GoodCamp, an innovative unconference advancing effective communications for nonprofits. Jenifer has taught communications to more than 800 students and shared her insights at TEDxCharlotte, Netroots Nation, PRSA Southeast Conference, and SouthWiRED.

Jenifer is also the co-host of #AskASista and can be heard weekly speaking on policy, politics, and pop culture on SiriusXM Progress’ Make It Plain with Mark Thompson.

Shay Prosser – CFO, Get It Together

Shay Prosser is co-founded and CFO of Get It Together, a company providing financial education and guidance to a variety of clients. Prior to launching Get It Together, Shay worked as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, and a marketing specialist for Microsoft and Strategic Technologies. She is also the co-author of two books: “Get It Together: Real World Money Guide for Graduates” and “Get It Together: Real World Money Guide to Cash and Credit”.

Colleen Cassel – Founder, Upstream Solutions

Colleen Cassel is founder of Upstream Solutions–a coaching and consulting firm working with organizations and individuals to increase effective growth solutions. She partners with clients on improving and creating leadership and career development skills, thriving work environments and marketing and sales strategies for success. After 20 years working in the entertainment industry, with a notable career as director of business development and strategic partnerships at CBS Television, Colleen has taken what she learned in corporate America to help others find their sweet spot of success in business and life.

Geri Jackson – Senior Vice President of Employee Relations, Wells Fargo

Geri Jackson is an Employee Relations Leader responsible for providing direction and management to the HR Advisor function for Wells Fargo. Her organization is responsible for providing consistent employee relations consultation and guidance to team members and managers with efforts to minimize HR related risk across the enterprise. She leads enterprise ER related initiatives to achieve Corporate HR strategic priorities. Geri leads delivery of employee relations consultation in support of the Company’s vision, values and HR policies

Shea Blackston – Branding and Marketing Consultant

Shea Blackston is an independent brand and marketing consultant. Born in Augusta, GA she graduated with a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communication from Winthrop University and studied copywriting at The Creative Circus, the leading creative arts school in the US. She began her career in the sporting event/television industry and spent most recent years working in management inside the “world of advertising agency”. Shea has served clients and led business development across multiple industries from technology to textiles for 12 years. Passionate about the power of social media, the strategy behind a layered approach to marketing, and with a skill for building relationships, Shea is able to identify weaknesses and create solutions that move the needle.

Sarah Banner – Manager of Supply Chain Logistics, Premier Inc.

Sarah Banner is an accomplished healthcare professional with over 12 years of experience leading and developing supply chain and relationship management models for major health care companies. Currently, Sarah serves as manager of supply chain and logistics for Premier, Inc. – a health care performance improvement alliance. Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in business management and information technology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
