Donaldson Company, Inc. (DCI) on March 30 announced the promotion of Jeffrey E. Spethmann to senior vice president, Industrial Products, effective April 4, 2016. In this role, Spethmann will be responsible for leading the global strategy and execution within Donaldson’s Industrial segment, which includes Industrial Filtration Solutions, Gas Turbine Systems and Special Applications. He will report to Tod Carpenter, president and chief executive officer.

Spethmann, 51, is currently the vice president of Donaldson’s global Industrial Air Filtration business. Before taking that role in 2014, he was vice president for the Company’s exhaust and emissions business after re-joining Donaldson in 2013. Beyond his recent experience at Donaldson, Spethmann had worked at the Company for 11 years in a variety of engineering and leadership positions, and he also held a leadership position for two other manufacturing companies.
