Dhaka: Results of the Junior School Certificate and the Junior Dhakhil Certificate examinations were published on Tuesday. This year the pass rate is 89.85 percent.
Among this 93.50 percent passed in Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC), 97.96 percent passed in Primary School Certificate (PSC) and 95.98 percent in Ebtedayee.
The copies of results were handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the morning while Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will unveil the results at a press conference at the Secretariat in the capital Dhaka around 9 am.
This year, a total of 2,090,692 candidates participated in the JSC and JDC examination, 1,56,235 obtained GPA-5.
The total number of the candidates in two public examinations was 5,200,000.
However, 3,094,265 candidates participated in Primary School Certificate and Ebtedayee examination.
