1. Mohenjo Daro (Release date: 12th August, 2016 )

2. Rustom (Release date: 12th August, 2016 )

The film is based on actual true-events, which had garnered the entire public’s attention at their time, and hopefully so will the film. Akshay Kumar look perfectly crisp and authentic, playing a Naval officer for the first time in his career. The movie’s release is right around the corner, let us see its stature matches its anticipation.

3. M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (Release date: 30th September, 2016 )

Indian cricket team captain, Mahinder Singh Dhoni has gathered much respect and applause for his outstanding performances on the cricket field. But, his journey to the field and to reach the mark he has in his life wasn’t a straight one. This movie is already creating plenty of buzz, as we get to know the man before he became one of India’s most beloved cricketers. With Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, this movie will definitely have Mahi’s fans hoarding the halls for a watch.

4. Baar Baar Dekho (Release date: 9th September, 2016 )

5. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Release date: 28th October, 2016)

Not much is yet out about the plotline of the film, but just the casting itself is good enough reason to be excited this one. With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in the lead roles, this film is already calling for media buzz . Also, the recent controversy about Aishwarya and Ranbir’s “steamy scenes” in the film, upsetting Aishwarya’s sasurji- Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is only adding to the anticipation.

6. Dear Zindagi (Release date: 25 November 2016)

This film will see Alia Bhatt in the lead role, alongside superstar Shahrukh Khan. Alia, who has already familiarised us with her outstanding acting chops, will be exploring themes love and the subsequent changes in life because of it. Alia stars alongside for hot men, with whom she explores love in the film, and these are- Aditya Roy Kapur, Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar and Kunal Kapoor. Excited much??

7. Befikre (Release date: 9th December, 2016 )

This film has already caught plenty of buzz with leads, Ranveer Singh and Vani Kapoor, kissing all around the globe for the super cute teasers. It would definitely be exciting to see what all this kissing loving conspires into, wont it?

8. Rock On!! 2 (Release date: 11th November 2016)

While Rock on!! was all rock and angst and awesomeness, Rock on!! 2 is expected to be even more rock, and more angst and much more awesomeness! The beauty and success of the first installement is a good enough reason to be looking out for this one.

9. Dangal (Release date: 23rd December 2016)

Saying that its an Aamir Khan film, should be a good enough reason to be looking forward to a film. Though adding that Aamir Khan plays a super cool dad who teaches his daughters how to wrestle makes it even more awesome, doesnt it? ’nuff said! This movie is going to be worth the wait.

10. Sachin: A Billion Dreams (Release date: 31st December 2016)

If there is one name that gets every Indian excited then that is SACHIN TENDULKAR. The film is going to be a biopic, and the most exciting part is that it stars Sachin himself in the lead. Alongside Sachin, his son Arjun Tendulkar will play a young Sachin. And, to say that the film will release on the final day of the 2016, will probably be the best way to say goodbye to this year!
