The 2017 Grammy Nominations have finally been released and surprisingly it looks like country music might just be taking over.
It is about time that country music starts getting the recognition it deserves and it looks like the 2017 Grammy’s might just be the perfect way to get it. Country stars all across the board have been nominated for several awards and some that aren’t even exclusively country music.
CBS This Morning announced all of the Grammy nominees and we were ecstatic to see that country, Americana, bluegrass and folk artists are among the nominees. The 59th annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 12 and we can’t wait to see who is going to be taking home the awards.
I will say that i’m surprised that Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton didn’t get nominated. I was really counting on those two! We are so happy for all of the artists that were nominated though. Check out a list of those artists and categories below.
