Carrie Underwood is one of the greatest female vocalists that country has ever heard.

Carrie Underwood isn’t your typical female country voice. She doesn’t have a sweet soft singing voice, but she has a very strong and powerful one that could make anyone tear up.

We have heard the country star sing multiple renditions of some of the most beautiful songs. Anytime Carrie sings a song, she makes it her own and it’s so beautiful.

That’s exactly what she did when she sang the national anthem at the NFL Seattle Seahawks game. Today we celebrate one of the most beautiful holidays in our country.

It is Independence day! This is when we celebrate the founding of the United States of America!

It was on July 4, 1776 that the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. However, a little known fact is that it was not until August 2 1776 that most delegates actually signed the Declaration.

This is such a beautiful day in history. It is fun to have fireworks and picnics and pool parties, but let us not forget the true meaning of Independence Day. To help you out, listen to this incredible rendition of the National Anthem sang by Carrie Underwood!

We all know this beautiful song, it has been embedded in our brains since we were in just elementary school. That just goes to show how important and how special this song is to our country!

I have heard this song hundreds of times in my life. Since I was just a young girl I would sing it at school and hear it at sporting events. It truly brings so much American Pride to my heart and many others.

Although, I’ve heard it so many times I have never heard anything like Carrie Underwood’s rendition of the song. She sang it a cappella at a football game and it blew me away. Most people’s voices tend to get really shaky, but not Underwood’s. This woman belted it out with pride in her heart for this country and it was amazing. I almost lost it when they showed some of our military on the jumbo screen!

“Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,

What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight,

O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
