Daring! Kim Kardashian showed off her incredible figure in hate couture custome-made gown by Ralph & Russo at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards on Tuesday
Kim Kardashian sent jaws dropping when she stepped out for the GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London on Tuesday night in a daring custom-designed haute couture gown by Ralph & Russo, featuring a gunmetal tulle fishtail look with crystal hand-embroidery.
Accompanied by her husband Kanye West, who couldn’t keep his hands off her, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians was presented with the Woman of the Year award by GQ’s editor Dylan Jones.
Sadly for Dylan, he didn’t announce her full name with ‘West’ on the end, and Kimmy made sure everyone knew about it.
What a gentleman: Kanye, 37, assisted Kim as she walked the red carpet and made sure she didn’t trip up on her heavy gown
Speaking to the guests gathered at the Royal Opera House, Kim said:’It’s Kim Kardashian West. I want to thank GQ for making me Woman of the Year, and my husband for making me feel like woman of the year every day.’
Dylan Jones had introduced the reality star with the following words: ‘She is simply one of the most famous women in the world. The queen of social media and the queen of TV. And since marrying Kanye West in May she has become part of the world’s most famous couple. She’s Cocoa Cola famous.. it’s Kim Kardashian.’
Adding height to her frame, the mother-of-one opted for sleek stilettos with chain detailing. Kim kept her accessories to a minimum, just a chunky silver bracelet that matched her footwear.
Kim and Kanye proved to be the best company for each other, as they couldn’t stop smiling and the rapper kept on nuzzling into his pretty wife’s neck and keeping his arms around her.
The Black Skinhead star had gone for a more reserved look in a navy blue jacket with black trousers, a low-cut T-shirt and what looked to be velvet shoes.
So in love! Kim and Kanye could barely contain their happiness as they walked the red carpet together. At one point the rapper pulled in his wife and whispered in her ear as she giggled
Having fun: The couple – who married this year in Italy – certainly seemed to be keeping each other entertained at the Royal Opera House
His leading lady: The reality star was accompanied by her husband, rapper Kanye West. The pair kept a firm hold of one another as they left their hotel
Protecting her modesty: Kim covered her chest and the deep slit in her skirt has she made her way out of the car
Kim’s shorter new hair, which she debuted via Instagram earlier in the week, was worn out in sexy tousles and a sleek side parting.
The reality star’s skin was a golden bronzed colour and her make-up was sexy and dramatic; using contouring with lashings of mascara and a shiny nude lip.
The newlyweds looked more in love than ever as they posed for photos on the red carpet, at one point Kanye lent into Kim and whispered something in her ear that made her giggle, and inside he got a lot friskier.
Is it raining? The style of Lewis Hamilton’s jacket made it look rather wet, while girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger opted for a white bandage style gown
Double trouble: Lewis and Nicole posed with Kim and Kanye inside the Royal Opera House
Nice to see you: Nicole gives the rapper a kiss as they catch up with Kimye outside the Covent Garden location
Model behaviour: Cara and Jourdan chatted with Daisy Lowe inside the event on Tuesday night
Ever the gentlemen, Kanye helped his leading lady as she navigated her way down the red carpet, making sure she didn’t trip on her heavy gown.
The GQ Men Of Year Awards returned to London on Tuesday night, bringing with it some of the world’s most handsome gents of stage, screen and television – not to mention the hottest women.
One of the winners on the night was Jonah Hill, who received the International Man of the Year award from Bradley Cooper. During his speech, the two-time Oscar nominated actor said: ‘Emily, my first girlfriend in sexith grade. You broke my heart and left it shattered. It was really sad. I know you’re young and love is wild and you grow apart but I’m GQ International Man of the f***ing Year!’
Classy: Cara cops a feel of Jourdan’s chest as the two British models pose at the fashionable event
Taking a tumble! Cara and Jonathan Saunders fell over near the bar after it looks like she jumped on him
Sheer numbers: Though Rita Ora’s dress was silver it still showed off some skin through the skirt and split of the frock
Cool kids: Iggy Pop recieves the Icon award from special guest Johnny Depp on Tuesday night
Dan Stevens presented his The Fifth Estate co-star Benedict Cumberbatch with the Actor of the Year award calling him a ‘b**ch c**t’ while on stage about to hand over the award. Clearly the banter sat well with the Sherlock star for Benedict responded by saying ‘what are friends for?’
Model Jourdan Dunn messed up twice while introducing Sportsman of the Year, Lewis Hamilton, to the stage and treated the audience to two drops of the F bomb.
Her pal Cara Delevingne was just as eloquent by saying ‘someone told me you’re not meant to swear in lace, that’s a f***ing lie’, when she presented Pharrell Williams with Solo Artist of the Year.
Cara and Jourdan proved their model worth by both opting for sheer black dresses that certainly did well to steal focus from the boys.
His turn: Kanye West wasn’t the one getting a gong this time, with Kim taking home the Woman of the Year award
Hollywood: Bradley Cooper and Jonah Hill chat during the show before the former presents the latter with International Man of the Year
Case of the ex: Jonah mentioned his sixth grade girlfriend during his speech letting her know what she missed out on my dumping him
Jokes: David Walliams was there to present John Bishop with the Comedian of the Year award
Cara’s lacy number featured floral pattern and little else as the British runway star wore just a par of high-waisted pants underneath, with peep-toe shoe boots on her feet. Jourdan meanwhile didn’t seem to be wearing any underwear thanks to her holy full-length gown.
Nicole Scherzinger was there to support her British race car driver boyfriend Lewis, though his wet look jacket made it seem that he had been caught in the rain on the way over. Nicole looked gorgeous in a strapless bandage gown.
And leading the dapper show was Scottish actor Gerard Butler, looking like he could be the next James Bond in his immaculate tuxedo, alongside male model David Gandy looking equally smouldering on the red carpet.
Gerard – recently named the new face of Hugo Boss who were sponsoring the event – was there to present the Entrepreneur award to hotelier André Balazs, who owns the Chateau Marmont and the recently opened celebrity hotspot The Chiltern Firehouse.
Pals: Kanye and Kim hang out with Pharrell Williams at the awards ceremony
Golden oldies: (L to R) Barbara Bach, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood and Sally Wood certainly seem peaceful at the ceremony
For Gerard, it seems he isn’t ready to show off his new lady who he has been seen spending a lot of time with over the last few weeks.
No doubt that gave him time to converse with the many of the other stylish men and women arriving for the awards show put on by the UK version of the mens’ magazine.
Loved up: Fifty Shades Of Grey star Jamie Dornan brought his stunning wife Amelia Warner to the ceremony
Barrel of laughs: Sheridan Smith seems thoroughly amused with Dan Stevens and David Walliams
Of course, Britain’s top male model David Gandy was one of the guests, smouldering in his three-piece suit on the red carpet.
While Jamie Dornan and Luke Evans decided against traditional black and opted for blue in their choices.
Both Charlotte Dellal and Zara Martin opt for off the shoulder statement gowns in red, while mother and daughter Yasmin and Amber Le Bon showcase a floral theme through their red carpet outfits.
Ellie Goulding, Sheridan Smith and Caroline Issa all chose white dresses for the occasion, and Ellie arrived with her boyfriend Dougie Poynter.
In-sync: Mother and daughter Yasmin (R) and Amber Le Bon showcase a floral theme through their red carpet outfits
Classic: David Walliams looked vintage cool in a white tuxedo jacket while Lara Stone looked equally retro in a circle-detail minidress
Rita Ora proved her style credentials in an amazing glittery gown with a revealing slit up the side, meaning the singer’s toned and tanned legs were on show. The dress featured a small train and one-shoulder detail. She finished off her look with simple yet elegant nude stilettos.
Her pieces included a bracelet made from a string of 50 carat emerald cut diamonds, a 10 carat diamond cocktail ring, and a 15 carat diamond chandelier drop pair of earrings.
Achieving the ultimate balance between sophisticated and sexy, Daisy Lowe ditched the red carpet gown in favour of something far more slick. Co-ordinating her entrance with the red carpet, the model wore red velvet shoes to elongate her never-ending legs.
Presenter: Actor Stanley Tucci – pictured with wife Felicity Blunt – would be presenting an award on Tuesday night
Good chat: Lewis Hamilton takes some time chat to Avengers star Samuel L Jackson
There were certainly a lot of couples in attendance with American actor Stanley Tucci arriving with his wife Felicity Blunt (sister of actress Emily) as well as Iggy pop and Gary Kemp with their significant others.
Colin Firth was accompanied by Livia, who forewent a dress in favour of a stylish androgynous look in the form of a nude tuxedo jacket with matching heels and bag completed by black skinny trousers and top.
John Bishop and his wife Melanie looked loved up on the red carpet and golden oldies Ronnie Wood and Ringo Starr brough their spouses. David Walliams looked vintage cool in a white tuxedo jacket while Lara Stone looked equally retro in a circle-detail minidress
A not so Single Man: Colin Firth arrives with his stylish wife Livia
Funny guy: Comedian John Bishop (L) and wife Melanie attend the GQ Men Of The Year awards
Both Cara Delevingne and Jools Holland fell over during the event, though the model’s spill was while she was grabbing a drink with Jonathan Saunders.
Looking far more composed were the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Benedict Cumberbatch and Peter Capaldi – three of the actors in attendance on the night. Samuel and Benedict didn’t waste time in talking to Lewis Hamilton, and the screen stars looked impressed to get the chance to chat to the racing car driver.
Sharleen Spiteri, Chloe Green and Jade Johnson stuck with dark dresses at the event which sees 22 men and one woman receive an award from the mens’ magazine.
Big fans: Benedict has often been seen watching the F1 races and no doubt jumped at the chance to meet Lewis
