Happy Holidays!

Stumped on what to get your Power Rangers fan for Christmas? Not sure if you know exactly what he or she would like? Check out our top 5 list below! Obviously, check to make sure these items aren’t already in his or her possession. And if they’re not – these are sure to put a smile on their face Christmas morning!

5) Power Rangers Super Megaforce Ranger Keys – Mighty Morphin Pack C, D, Super Megaforce Pack C

These bad boys are the first wave of the “sixth Ranger/girls” wave which may never see the light of day at this point. While it does contain some keys that you probably already have, it does offer them in a way that you may not have them – translucent style! The plus side is you get the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger without having to buy that horrible Silver Morpher … seriously, that thing is kind of junk. We’re not saying the Bandai of Japan Gokaiger version is any better, but at least it has parts that move and working buttons.

4) S.H. Figuarts Kyoryuger Kyoryu Red

This item was the only mass release item in the S.H. Figuarts line for Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger – the rest were all webshop exclusives and thus are hard to find and now cost quite a penny (well over $100). This guy was made in such abundance that for the second holiday season in a row some shops are offering him as low as $15 (HobbyLinkJapan) and others have had lightning deals on him (Amazon). If you can find him for anywhere south of the $25 mark, pick him up. We expect Dino Charge to be pretty popular which will cause this figure to finally sell out and become a more “in demand” item.

3) Legacy Dragon Dagger

“Whoa wait a second!” you’re probably crying out. “Why are you putting this item on the list?” Simple – it costs just enough that casual collectors have been passing on it. The going commentary on this item is “I want it … but I don’t want to spend $75 for it”. When it ‘tis the season to be giving’, this item would make a great piece for the collection of your special Power Rangers someone. Featuring diecast metal and exquisite molding and design work, the Dragon Dagger is probably the best “roleplay” toy that Bandai of America has ever released (maybe the Legacy Morpher tops it, but it’s hard to tell when the 349587345th version is now available in stores). Either way – if you’re stumped, this is a safe bet and a good buy!

2) Power Rangers Dino Charge toys

It’s a safe bet to assume that if you are buying for a Power Rangers fan that they may have already picked some of these items up. But if they haven’t – trust us – they want it. Whether it be the Megazord or the morpher or even some of the newer items just now popping up (the 5” and 12” figures), your special someone wants these items. Maybe it’s the whole “omg new toy” high that we get on, or maybe we’re genuinely excited for these items, but either way they are an item your Power Rangers fan wants!

1) Legacy Titanus

To gain the power of Titanus, Jason and Tommy had to overcome obstacles and literally climb a mountain to be granted the power of this legendary dinosaur zord. And with an original price tag of $200, that may have been a mountain that many fans just couldn’t swing, especially so close to the holidays. With a semi-permanent reduction to $150, and coupons galore available for Toys’R’Us to take it down even further, now is the best time to grab this collector’s item. If it follows the same pattern as the Legacy Megazord (which we believe it will), when it sells out the demand will increase (because everyone is waiting for it to drop below three digits). Let’s be honest – most of us want it, a large part of us can’t afford it, and no one wants to spend $250 on it next summer when it’s sold out.
