1. Love yourself. If you want someone to be attracted to you, then make sure you’re comfortable with yourself first. Work out what makes you a good catch and flaunt your confidence.
2. Who do you want to meet? If you aren’t clear about what you’re looking for, you’ll never recognise it when you find it. Write down a description of what you like in a guy, and keep it in a safe place. Is it their height, their warmth, their ambition?
3. Take action. 83% of men prefer arranging dates online, sigh. There are many good online dating sites, so sign up to one which works for you. You’ll be telling the world you’re ready to meet someone, giving guys the green light to ask you out! You won’t find a guy sitting at home watching Hollyoaks.
4. Approach online dating the right way. Make sure you have a fantastic photo and an attention grabbing profile. Be proactive, contact the people you’re interested in and tell them why you’d be a great match. Smile in your picture, and remove sunglasses to make you appear more ‘real’. A little flirting never hurt anybody.
5. Try a Dating App. If you want to meet someone amazing by Valentine’s Day, dating apps are the fastest way to do it. Since first impressions are based on photographs, choose one that looks like you on a really good day, without using those ‘thinifying’ apps.
6. Start Dating. Many girls say they find dating a chore, but look at each date as a chance to try something new. Keep your first dates to just an hour. Most importantly… have fun, as that’s what dating is all about. The girls who are married are jealous of those who date so embrace it!
7. Don’t give up! This is THE most important step. You might have to go on several dates before you meet Mr. Right, but what if you gave up just one date before you met him? You’d never know how close you got to making it work.
