After the third victory in the NBA Western Conference Finals, Oklahoma City Thunder is a step away from reaching the NBA Finals. Thunder has 3-1 lead in the series against the defending champion Golden State Warriors. The team from Oklahoma City came to third convincing victory with the score 118-94, and the best player in the winning was Russell Westbrook, who had his first triple-double in the playoffs as he ended the game with 36 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Kevin Durant played a good game, as he scored 26 points. Golden State Warriors now have no right to make mistake. Only in the mood for last night was Klay Thompson, who scored 26 points. Steph Curry scored 19 points, but he took 20 shots to achieve that.

Pittsburgh Penguins defeated Tampa Bay Lightning with the score 5-2 in the sixth game of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals and so leveled the score at 3-3 in the series.

UEFA Disciplinary Committee has suspended the Turkish players Volkan Sen from all its competitions until the end of the year for incident that happened on the match of the Europe League when Fenerbahce played against Braga. In that game Sen earned red card, after which he pushed referee.

Sinisa Mihajlovic is the new coach of Torino. This is the sixth club that Mihajlovic will coach in Serie A. he started last season as the head coach of the AC Milan, but he was fired before the end of the season because he did not lived up to expectations.

Granit Xhaka is Arsenal’s first signing for the new season. Swiss midfielder came to the Gunners from Borussia Monchengladbach and the media speculated that the transfer value is around 33 million euros.

Today was a very interesting day at Roland Garros. Andy Murray again played five sets and survived, this time he was better than Mathias Bourgue 6-2, 2-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. Stan Wawrinka struggled in the first set in the match against Taro Daniel, but after that he easy won the next two and secured a place in the next round. Fernando Verdasco eliminated Ivan Dodig in three sets. Ivo Karlovic after a lot of trouble celebrated and qualified for the next round. Croatian played five sets against Jordan Thompson, 6-7, 6-3, 7-6, 6-7, 12-10. John Isner played good match against Kyle Edmund and celebrated with 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. Gilles Simon prevented big surprise. The Frenchman was losing with 2-0 in sets against Guido Pella, but he managed to win next three sets and record the win. Dusan Lajovic retired the match to Viktor Troicki, while Milos Raonic easily reached the victory against Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 7-6, 6-1. Kei Nishikori was confident in the match against Andrey Kuznetsov 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. Jack Sock, Teymuraz Gabashvili, Jeremy Chardy, Albert Ramos, Alexander Zverev, Nick Kyrgios, Richard Gasquet and Andrej Martin also recorded victories today.

In the WTA part of the tournament, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova after three sets eliminated Cagla Buyukakcay. Petra Kvitova had no problems in the match against Su-Wei Hsieh, as she celebrated with 6-4, 6-1. Simona Halep after two sets were better than Zarina Diyas and Svetlana Kuznetsova recorded expected victory as she was better than Heather Watson with 6-1, 6-3. Samantha Stosur easily reached the victory against Shuai Zhang 6-3, 6-4. Garbine Muguruza surrendered just two games to Myrtille Georges. Agnieszka Radwanska eliminated Caroline Garcia, as she celebrated with 6-2, 6-4. In the next round of the tournament will play Naomi Osaka, Lucie Safarova, Yanina Wickmayer, Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, Tsvetana Pironkova, Irina Camelia Begu, Annika Beck and Sloane Stephens.
