Providing safe drinking water through innovation

Chicago, Illinois – August 4, 2016 – Chicago-based social start-up company, BTI Nano Tech, is seeking community support for their HOPE FOR CLEAN WATER – India Project. The program was developed to help people in areas exposed to unsafe water through the use of an innovative electrolysis water purifier, Infinityihope. A campaign was launched to raise $40,000 by September 17, 2016.

Over the past decades, India’s improvements to the availability and quality of municipal drinking water systems have been tremendous. However, due the country’s large population, water resources are stressed which leads to rural areas being left out. With limited choice, many rural communities have to drill wells to access groundwater where much of it are contaminated and not purified.

Infinityihope is the most advanced, unique, patent pending green technology for water treatment in the world. It has built-in high-tech IoT and AI. This electrolysis water purifier kills waterborne bacteria and viruses instantly. Not only has drinking disinfected water with electrolysis been widely acknowledged by numerous journals for its outstanding performance, but BTI Nano Tech has completed successful Beta tests. The product was installed at an elementary school, a village hall, and shelters in three different villages in Gujarat, India. Thanks to these installations, 15,000 people now have clean and safe drinking water.

BTI Nano Tech’s mission is to install and supply purified water to implement their “no more suffering people due to unsafe water” model. There are 638,000 villages, 108,000 temples/shelters, and 1.3 million schools in India that are in need of clean water. The company has already received 338 purchase orders from local Indian governments and villages that are awaiting the installation of the Infinityihope. The cost to install each unit is $3,000, which includes the product, international delivery, customs and labor.  Funds received from this campaign will be used to cover the fees to provide the filtration system to those in need.
