July 2, 2014 – UK. Jazz-funk-rock-pop singer songwriter George Montague has turned to crowd-funding and his fans to help launch his new album. Each donation brings the album closer to fans globally. This young, vibrant multi-instrumentalist on piano, guitar and ukulele, has nearly 5 million views on YouTube and is enthralling a global audience with his exciting live energy and countless contagious original songs.
George delivered an exciting, energetic performance to an enthusiastic packed audience in the Jazz Arena at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, where he also won Decca Records ‘Search for a New Jazz Star’. This summer he is on the bill at the famous Henley Festival (alongside Burt Bacharach, Bryan Ferry, Rick Wakemen, Rebecca Ferguson, Joss Stone and The Jacksons) and in November George is set for an Artist Residency at the prestigious EFG London Jazz Festival.
