Beyond the Rainbow Foundation brings amateurs and rising LPGA stars together for charity

Lahaina, Hawaii – April 04, 2014 – Beyond the Rainbow, a Maui foundation dedicated to “Helping Maui’s youth realize the promise of their future!”, today announced the Aloha Team Classic Pro/Am on October 13 – 16, 2014 at Kapalua Resort in Maui. The charity golf tournament boasts participation by several rising stars of the Ladies’ Professional Golf Association (LPGA), with whom attendees will play one round.

LGPA player participants in past years have included: Taylor Collins, Lisa Ferrero, Anna Grzebien, Allison Hanna, Angela Jerman, Olivia Jordan, Stephanie Kono, Stephanie Louden, Kim Welch and Heather Young amongst others.

The event includes three rounds of tournament golf for teams of two amateurs each. The rounds will be played at some of the best courses Maui has to offer, including the Royal Course at Ka’anapali Golf Courses and the Bay and Plantation Courses at Kapalua Resort.

To cap this special experience off, an LPGA Tour Player will join each team for the 3rd Round on the Plantation Course, home of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. This is a unique opportunity to play with the pros and adds a personalized and celebrity aspect to the charity event.

The Aloha Team Classic is actively seeking charitable sponsors to help fund the event. Various levels of sponsorship are available including an open Title Sponsorship as well as Corporate and Mini-Corporate Sponsors. Depending upon the level of sponsorship, sponsors  will be able to brand the event with their name and logo, send full groups of special guests to the event to play with the LPGA pros, and participate in the event’s fully collaborative marketing plan.

“These sponsorships are excellent opportunity for companies to rewards top employees or valued customers and clients,” says Deborah Katz, President of Beyond the Rainbow Foundation. “And it’s all in the name of charity for the future of Maui’s youth!”

The Aloha Team Classic Pro/Am will take place at Kapalua Resort in Maui on October 13 – 16, 2014. Registration, Sponsorship details and additional information are available on the Aloha Team Classic website at: http://alohateamclassic.org
