1. Allagash Brewing Company White! “Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast. 94 POINTS! ” – RateBeer.com

2. Dogfish Head Burton Baton comes in with 10% ABV and earns “99 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. The elusive brew is made from pilsner malt and amber malt with an original gravity of 26.5?P, yielding an 11% abv. It’s hopped with Warrior and Glacier varieties. Primary fermentation takes place in open vessels using two yeast strains, one American and one English. For added complexity, the beer is conditioned on barrel staves of French Oak for four months before being dry hopped with Glacier at the rate of a half-pound per barrel. This elixir is then blended 50/50 with 90 Minute IPA. After blending, the beer will measure 80 IBU and 10% abv. Bottled in corked bottles through Michael Jackson’s rare beer club by late November 04 and available in 12 ounce full distribution in early January 05.

3. Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA comes in with 6% ABV and earns “98 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Our flagship beer. A session India Pale Ale brewed with Warrior, Amarillo & ‘Mystery Hop X.’ A powerful East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character. THE session beer for beer geeks like us! 6% abv 60 ibu Tasting Notes: Citrus, cedar, pine & candied-orange flavors, floral. Food Pairing recommendations: Spicy foods, pesto, grilled salmon, soy-based dishes, pizza.

4. Stone IPA comes in with 6.9% ABV and earns “100 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com.  Look up “hops” in the dictionary and you’ll see a picture of Stone IPA! “Dry-hopped” for an extra two weeks, this unique process gives our IPA its bountiful hop aroma and rich hop flavor. A full 70+ IBUs (International Bitterness Units) creates this beer’s crisp and refreshing bitter character.

5. Rodenbach comes in with 5.2% ABV and earns “93 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. A blend of 75% young beer fermented in steel tanks and 25% old beer aged 2 year in large oak casks. Rodenbach bears the proud title of “the most refreshing beer in the world”.

6. Carton Milk Stout comes in with 4% ABV and earns “88 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. The key to a seasonable beer is the way it evolves over time well spent. Here we took an extremely dark malt bill and smashed it against the sweetness of milk, then we wafted black currant notes of Bullion hops through the middle. Nuanced to keep it an I ferreting part of a gathering while neither dominating not being inconsequential to banter. Drink Carton of Milk because it does a session good

7. Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA comes in with 9% ABV and earns “100 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com

Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute I.I.PA., “perhaps the best I.P.A. in America.” An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall

8. **Local Brew** Carton Brewing 007xx Double IPA! (From the Atlantic Highlands!) “Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. A double IPA perfect for adding fuel to the fire of a dinner, a game, or an idea, drink it when your night matters. – 93 POINTS! ” – RateBeer.com

Station 2

9. Boxcar Mango Ginger IPA comes in with 7% ABV! Just in time for the warm spring days of 2012, Mango Ginger Ale is flying off shelves faster than we ever thought possible! It must be that crisp, delicious flavor taking everyone by storm. First take in fresh mango to your nose, then get a hint of ginger with the first sip. Bright mango washes it down, and finally a ginger pop comes back with hops in the finish.

10. Victory Braumeister Pills comes in with 5.5% ABV and earns “95 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. No commercial review available, but trust us, it is GOOD!

11.  Abita Purple Haze comes in with 4.75% ABV! Abita Purple Haze is a crisp, American style wheat beer with fresh raspberries added during secondary fermentation. Subtle coloration, fruity aroma and tartly sweet taste.

12.  Kane Head High comes in with 6.5% ABV and earns “99 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Head High is our interpretation of an American-style India Pale Ale (IPA). This beer is all about the hops; we use a blend of five different varieties all grown in the Pacific Northwest. A small charge of Chinook and Columbus early in the boil adds a smooth bitterness. A majority of the hops are then added late in the kettle or post-fermentation to produce a beer that is heavy on hop flavor and aroma. The combination of Cascade, Centennial, Citra and Columbus give Head High a noticeable grapefruit flavor with aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and pine. Our house American ale yeast ferments to a dry finish that accentuates the use of imported Pilsner and lightly kilned crystal malt resulting in Head High’s straw color and crisp flavor.

13.  Allagash Grand Cru comes in with 7.2% ABV and earns “98 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Allagash Grand Cru is deep golden in color, and has a firm yet refined malty palate. Taste and aroma have suggestions of smoke and licorice, with subtle hints of fruit and spice. An excellent beer to enjoy during the cooler seasons.

14. Kane Ripple comes in with 4.6% ABV and earns “90 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Ripple is an American-style Session Ale. When we began conceptualizing this beer we were looking for the best platform to showcase a relatively new hop called Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. We first began experimenting with Nelson when we were brewing single hop beers for the 1st annual ” Wolf Among The Seas,” our educational hop experience. We really enjoyed the subtle flavors of gooseberries and sauvignon blanc grapes that characterize this hop, but because the flavors are delicate and require large amounts of hops, we thought the lighter malt bill of a session ale provided the best base on which to build this beer. Maintaining body in such a low ABV beer was very important to us, so we added a large amount of low crystals and flaked oats to our base of Pilsner malt. Nelson is a unique hop, but to avoid a finished product that was one dimensional, we rounded out the hop flavor with a small amount of Simcoe for bittering and added Amarillo and Citra to the finish and dry hop

15.

Dogfish Head Kvasic comes in with 10% ABV and earns “87 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com.  A tart and herbaceous hybrid Scandinavian grog. The newest in our lineup of Ancient Ales, Kvasir (say: Va-seer’) is brewed with lingonberries, cranberries, birch syrup and herbs.

16. Carton Brewing Boat (From the Atlantic Highlands!) “Boat Beer is designed to be complex enough to merit drinking a few without being crippled by alcohol. Kolsch yeast and German malts are combined to be crisp and refreshing; while a generous amount of American hops have been added to keep it remarkable. Expect it to dance out of the glass with a whack of grapefruit and open into a crisp, stony tangle of white and yellow fruit with pine and moss notes. An IPA for everyday drinking, drink boat beer when you are thirsty from softball, fishing, or explaining why your team is best. – 90 POINTS! ” – RateBeer.com

Station 3

17. Delirium Tremens comes in with 8.5% ABV and earns “94 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Launched on December 26th 1989 @ 9% abv. Abv reduced from 9% to 8.5% in 2003. The particular character and the unique taste of “Delirium Tremens” result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success. In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as “best beer in the world”. A gold medal during the “world beer championships” in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

18.

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA comes in with 7% ABV and earns “100 POINTS!” - Ratebeer.com.   The Sculpin IPA is a testament to our humble beginnings as Home Brew Mart. Founded in 1992, the Mart continues to be a catalyst for the San Diego brewing scene, setting the trend for handcrafted ales. Inspired by our customers, employees and brewers, the Sculpin IPA is bright with aromas of apricot, peach, mango and lemon. Its lighter body also brings out the crispness of the hops. This delicious Ballast Point Ale took a Bronze Medal at the 2007 Great American Beer Festival in the Pro Am category. The Sculpin fish has poisonous spikes on its fins that can give a strong sting. Ironically, the meat from a Sculpin is considered some of the most tasty. Something that has a sting but tastes great, sounds like a Ballast Point India Pale Ale.

19. Carton Epitome Black IPA comes in with 10% ABV and is so new, there is no score on Ratebeer! Commercial Description: We don’t have many rules at Carton Brewing and those we have made for ourselves. In general though, we strive for drinkability through balance and harmonization of flavors. But even self-imposed rules are meant to be broken. With Epitome we decided to embrace the teenage metalhead in each of us and get discordant with a seriously hoppy, high gravity, black ale. The only notions accepted were to make it bigger, bolder, hotter, & faster. A Beast. The ABV had to push past 10, the black had to be “none more,” and the hops had to be American and piled on like a double bass drum kicking faster and harder. Drink Epitome because things worth doing are worth over doing.

20. Flying Dog Raging Bitch comes in with 8.3% ABV and earns “98 PONITS!” – Ratebeer.com. Some may remember a beer called, Raging Bitch Birch Beer, that Flying Dog introduced on April 1st. Whereas that low-gravity series beer was a joke, this beer is anything but at 8% ABV (60 IBU). Propaganda from the label: “Two inflammatory words…one wild drink. Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. Let it out. It is cruel to keep a wild animal locked up. Uncap it. Release it…stand back! Wallow in its golden glow in a glass beneath a white foaming head. Remember, enjoying a RAGING BITCH, unleashed, untamed, unbridled – and in heat – is pure GONZO!! It has taken 20 years to get from there to here. Enjoy!” – Ralph Steadman

21. Lindemans Framboise comes in with 2.5% ABV and earns an impressive “95 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. A clean natural tasting brew with undertones of fresh raspberries and a wonderful aroma.

22. Founder’s Dirty Bastard comes in with 8.5% ABV and earns “98 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Founders flagship beer. Dirty Bastard is an absolute beautiful beer to behold. Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. This beer “ain’t fer the wee lads”

23. Dogfish Head Hellhound comes in with 10% ABV and earns “97 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com.  2011 marks the 100th birthday of Mississippi Delta bluesman Robert Johnson who, according to legend, sold his soul down at the crossroads in a midnight bargain and changed music forever. Working again with our friends at Sony Legacy (yup, the same folks we did our Miles Davis-inspired Bitches Brew with), Dogfish Head pays tribute to this blues legend by gettin the hellhounds off his trail and into this finely-crafted ale. Hellhound is a super-hoppy ale that hits 100 IBUs in the brewhouse, 10.0 ABV, 10.0 SRM in color, and dry-hopped with 100% centennial hops at a rate of 100 kilos per 100 barrel brew-length. Can you tell we at Dogfish are stoked for this mighty musical centennial? To accentuate and magnify the citrusy notes of the centennial hops (and as a shout out to Robert Johnsons mentor Blind Lemon Jefferson) we add dried lemon peel and flesh to the whirlpool.

24. Founders All Day IPA comes in with 4.7% ABV and earns “96 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. The beer you’ve been waiting for. Keeps your taste satisfied while keeping your senses sharp. An all-day IPA naturally brewed with a complex array of malts, grains and hops. Balanced for optimal aromatic and a clean finish. The perfect reward for an honest day’s work and the ultimate companion to celebrate life’s simple pleasures.

Station 4

24. Southern Tier Old Man Winter comes in with 7.2% ABV and earns “91 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com.  With the onset of winter, the brewer’s mind turns to providing warmth. For our winter seasonal, Southern Tier offers Old Man Winter Ale, a rich and complex amalgam of hops and barley that will put the feeling back in your toes and lift your spirits above the snow. Old Man Winter throws a deep and inviting hue with a thickness that clings to the glass and the warmth of an open flame. Because of its high alcohol content, Old Man Winter is a heady brew that encourages sipping and pondering its essential richness. Drink it fresh now, or cellar some bottles to see how this old man becomes wiser with age.

25. ** Last Chance for the Year!** Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale comes in with 5.2% ABV! Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale is a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with delightful aromatics and subtle spiced flavor

26. Stone Double Bastard American Strong Ale comes in with 11.2% ABV and earns “100 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com.   This is a lacerative muther of a beer. The evil big brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is strongly suggested you stay far, far away from this beer. Those foolish enough to venture close enough to taste will experience a punishingly unforgiving assault on the palate.

27.) **New This Week** Cisco Winter Shredder comes in with 6% ABV! Gnar-Gnar Lumpkin, the shreddingist snowman this side of Nantucket Sound, likes nothing better than catching a wave on his board…a Cisco wave that is, cold, fresh, and wicked cool! Get mad shacked with the Shredder and have yourself a merry little winter.

28. Southern Tier Harvest comes in with 6.4% ABV and earns “95 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. Harvest Ale is our celebration of the changing weather and the sowing of hops and barley that will be used in our upcoming brews. We usher in the fall with a classic English style Extra Special Bitter of the highest order. Deep ruby in color with an even deeper hop flavor… in fact, we throw fresh English hops into every brewing vessel, then dry hop after fermentation to impart a zesty kick. This beer has real hop character that mingles with fresh malted barley for an experience that will make you wish it were fall year ’round

29. Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale comes in with 5% ABV! Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale is our homage to the craft and heritage of America’s brewers. Recipes calling for the use of pumpkins in beer date back to early colonial times, when brewers sought to extend their supply of costly imported malt with locally grown ingredients, such as squash and “pompions.” In that spirit, we brew our ale with the addition of pumpkin to the mash, along with traditional spices to create a delicious American original.

31. Neshaminy Creek Punkel Ale comes in with 8.8% ABV and earns “92 POINTS for Style” – Ratebeer.com. You have to check this one out for yourself, very Limited!

32. Delirium Tremmens Noel comes in with 10% ABV and earns “97 POINTS!” – Ratebeer.com. No commercial description is available for thie incredible brew, but it is one of our favorites for the year!
