Kapamilya actress Julia Montes denied the rumors that she plans on transferring to rival network GMA–7 after the series finale of her ABS-CBN afternoon teleserye ‘Doble Kara’.

Rumors surfaced when multiple newspapers published Julia’s intention to move to the Kapuso Network.

During the series finale’s press con on January 30, the 21-year-old actress quelled the rumors when asked by a popular news site.

“At inaalagaan po ako ng ABS-CBN and Dreamscape, nina Sir Deo, so wala pong ganun.” She added.

She was referring to Deo Endrinal, head of ABS-CBN’s business unit Dreamscape.

A: “Yes, opo,”

“Honestly kasi, parang never din naman sumagi sa akin from the very start. Julia continued.

“Kasi, from the very start, naramdaman ko naman na never akong napabayaan ng network, tapos from Star Magic hanggang naging Cornerstone po ako. She said.

She added.

Julia said she couldn’t bring herself to break the trust ABS-CBN and Dreamscape have in her – especially when she was dubbed their “Daytime Drama Queen.”

The nickname comes from her consistently high national TV ratings as well as her show ‘Doble Kara’ having the number one spot in daytime television. This is based on data collected by Kantar Media.

When asked about her new nickname, Julia had this to say:

So, iyon po, unexplainable yung pakiramdam. She continued.

She added.

Julia was then asked if she had any concerns about her nickname. Specifically, she was asked if ABS-CBN was typecasting her into roles specifically made for afternoon teleseryes.

The actress said she had no problems working afternoons or evenings.

The Kapamilya star confirmed her involvement in a new Dreamscape project. She was excited about her new role and invited everyone to eagerly await its announcement.

She added.

When asked if she was going to take a break or continue working after ‘Doble Kara’, she had this to say:

We wish you all the best, Julia!
