Vice Ganda has become one of the most popular stars of this generation, staking his name in Philippine comedy through his hosting shows and numerous blockbuster movies.
However, despit many years starring in blockbuster hit movies that have topped the charts, Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro’s recent movies were not chosen to be a part of the list of entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
When asked, Vice Ganda said he was not at all bitter about it.
“See you next year sa sinehan,” Vice happily reacted during an episode on It’s Showtime.
“Good luck sa mga pumasok.” Vhong added.
After a long, thought-out deliberation process, the eight entries chosen for the MMFF are:
‘Die Beautiful‘, ‘Kabisera‘, ‘Saving Sally‘, ‘Seklusyon‘, ‘Sunday Beauty Queen‘, ‘Oro‘, ‘Vince & Kath & James‘ and ‘Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 2: #ForeverIsNotEnough‘.
