These things are mainly the reasons why celebrities remain faithful to their home networks for years.

Here are GMA-7 actors who stayed with the Kapuso network for more than 10 consecutive years:

1. Betong Sumaya

Betong has stayed as a Kapuso for over 27 years. His career started behind-the-scenes as a supervising editor for the 1989 public affairs show The Probe Team hosted by Che-Che Lazaro. He was later tapped as an extra for several Kapuso public affairs show and later became a segment host on Susan Enriquez’s defunt weekend program Kay Susan Tayo way back in 2003. In 2012, he joined and won the reality show Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown.

2. Vic Sotto

Bossing Vic is just a year away from his 40th year in the showbiz industry, with most of those years spent in GMA-7. The Kapuso comedian has stayed with GMA for 21 straight years since Eat Bulaga‘s transfer to the Kapuso network way back in 1995.

Joey de Leon has also stayed with the Kapuso network for over 21 straight years. Joey started his showbiz career as a radio DJ and later transitioned as a comedian and host with Vic and Tito Sotto through IBC 13’s gag show OK Lang and GMA’s first noontime show Student Canteen. The TV host-comedian has always been a Kapuso during his earlier years and came back in 1995 with the Dabarkads of Eat Bulaga.

5. Jimmy Santos

Jimmy Santos also made it to our list along with other Eat Bulaga hosts including Tito, Vic, and Joey. The former PBA star has been a Kapuso for over 21 years (or more) since the noontime show made its transfer to the network.

6. Allan K

Comedian Allan K joined the Eat Bulaga team back in 1984 when the show was still with RPN 9. The comedian/actor joined the rest of the Dabarkads when it transfered to GMA-7 in 1995. Aside from the noontime show, the Kapuso network tapped Allan K to host some of its comedy programs.

Jose Manalo entered showbiz by playing a supporting role in the TV series Valiente back in 1995. He joined Eat Bulaga as a production assistant and was later given the opportunity to host a segment of the show with Wally Bayola.
