Coronation Street’s steamy affair between Tina McIntyre and Peter Barlow had fans in stitches tonight when Liz McDonald waded in and had Peter up against a wall in the Rovers’ toilets.
Tonight’s New Year’s Day episode saw the aftermath of Tina and Peter’s late-night sex session on New Year’s Eve in which they slept together while Peter’s new wife Carla was comforting terminally ill Hayley across the Street.
But as Tina broke down and admitted how far they’d gone to Liz, she vowed she’d set him straight and tell him she wanted nothing more to do with him.
With Peter refusing to believe Tina though, the Rovers’ Return landlady took it upon herself to sort Peter out and in a surprise twist, turned bad girl as she had him pinned up against the wall in the men’s toilets.
But it didn’t have quite the desired effect as Corrie fans were left in stitches as the not-so-dramatic scenes.
