As a key member of the Audible Marketing team, the Director, Conversion will be responsible for increasing conversion across US web and mobile marketplaces to drive profitable growth of Audible Members. We are seeking an experienced marketing professional with deep conversion experience to lead conversion efforts impacting 10+ marketing channels. You will work closely with internal and external teams that include the Amazon team, Audible Traffic, Design, Product, SEO, Research and technology.
The position’s most critical duties and functions: - Establish baseline and conversion stretch targets across all web and mobile marketing channels
- Lead team to achieve conversion targets across channels through methodical test and learn plans.
- Create key reporting metrics and report progress weekly and monthly
- Lead cross functional team to optimize the online and mobile customer registration processes.
- Translate success across US channels.
- Work with Audible UK, DE and FR to improve conversion across marketplaces. Coordinate continuous testing and share best practices globally.
- With Director, Traffic, forecast monthly conversion impact on annual new member and subscriber acquisition cost goals.
- Implement customer feedback loop on UX via quantitative or qualitative research. Use prototype research for design to iterate and gain feedback.
- Manage 2 direct reports

- Enhance and execute social strategy to acquire new fans and members
- Manage annual social media budget and forecast
- Manage relationship with external agencies and vendors to execute on strategy
- Share best practices with international teams
- Create performance reports and made proactive recommendations for enhancements
- Manage direct report and matrixed cross-functional team

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering , Math or a related field of study

10+ years of experience in online marketing, ecommerce or UX.

Strong analytical and Excel skills

Strong understanding of campaign performance metrics across online marketing channels including Audible.com, SEO, Paid and Mobile Search, display, wireless social and affiliate.
- Deep experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Adobe Site Catalyst, Google Analytics

Proven results of usability and design of high-converting webpages, sales funnels, split tests and multivariate tests on websites.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Familiarity with mobile UX and mobile conversion optimization.

Ability to generate and quickly execute upon actionable recommendations based on the synthesis and analyses of extensive data
- Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Understanding the psychology of a website’s visitors.

Experience leading cross functional and directly managed teams.
