*Roles & Responsibilities*
*Due Diligence:*
* Perform due diligence on traditional mutual funds (including alternative hybrid funds) and Investment management companies
* Perform annual investment management company reviews on all approved investment management companies and as well as their respective approved mutual funds
* Manage regional mutual fund information database/MIS (including periodic update of master data files and downloads from commercial databases). Candidate will also be responsible for the tracking of fund approvals and maintaining centralized depository for fund due diligence conducted by the Regional Due Diligence team
* Provide necessary database support to the Global Fund Partnership project
* Act as liaison among internal stakeholders, legal departments and external fund providers
* Provide support for ongoing monitoring of mutual fund actions and notifications
*Governance:*
* Ensure compliance with all applicable external regulatory requirements and Citi internal policies and standards
* Ensure timely escalation/approval to GDDC/IPR/DPAC so as to ensure alignment of mutual fund launches by EMEA businesses
*Advisory:*
* Manage relationships with investment management companies including discussions ranging from market trends, business updates and identifying mutual fund opportunities
* Provide regional support, guidance and functional oversight to local businesses regarding due diligence practices/policies
* Serve as a one-point contact for traditional mutual funds for EMEA businesses
*Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills:*
* Bachelor’s degree from recognized university, preferably with a major in Business, Banking, Finance or Investments
* At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience work experience, preferably in investments and/or mutual fund analysis
* Strong knowledge and understanding of mutual fund products, regulatory framework and processes in EMEA
*Personal Skills:*
* Thoughtful and analytical, with a keen eye for details
* Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication and team skills
* Ability to work in fast-paced oriented environment
* Cooperative, supportive and responsible for duties assigned
* Ability to speak Russian and/or Polish would be advantageous
