Sodexo currently has a job for an *Executive Dining Room Manager (2)* to join our team at Abhow Las Ventanas located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position reports to the General Manager and works directly with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth dining service, proper food safety and sanitation, employees scheduling, catered events and bookings for two property dining locations. This is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Memory Care. Las Ventanas is the only luxury life care community in Southern Nevada offering premier life care living.

*Job Responsibilities:*

* Oversees the front of the house employees in the main dining room of Independent Living.
* Works with Sodexo Management to ensure smooth dining service.
* Oversees food service safety and sanitation policies.
* Hires and trains employees for day to day operations.
* Maintains standards for superior Client and Resident relations.

* *

*Ideal Candidates Skill Set:*

* Fine Dining experience in a Restaurant / Hotel.
* Catering experience to plan and execute events.
* Ability to manage and book reservations for large events.
* HR skills to schedule & train 20 hostesses / wait staff
* Computer skills; Microsoft, Scheduling, SDX Menu Graphics
* Servsafe Certified, experience with HACCP monitors
* Knowledge of state and Federal industry regulations.
* Some food production experience is ideal

The typical schedule will run 10am-7pm Tuesday - Saturdays, with some holiday and catering coverage.

Manages food preparation and service operations in the Executive Dining Room. Supports client relations efforts. Oversees staff hiring and training.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
